Specialization branch offered at Norwich (UK) during the second year

The aim of the EMAE programme at University of East Anglia is to train students to carry out a variety of environmental sciences and conservation projects that focus on improving our knowledge of the consequences of global environmental change on natural habitats. The programme provides interdisciplinary training forming an ideal platform either for continuation to doctoral research or for direct access into conservation related employment.

Master thesis carried out within such specialization branch (2008-2010 EMAE edition):

"Ethnobotany of rubber tappers communities in sustainable development reserves in western Amazon, Brazil"

"Modelling species distribution from atlas data for selection of priority areas for bird conservation"

"Home ranges and densite selection of introduced urban possums (Trichosurus vulpecula) in New Zealand"

"Temporal and spatial variations in breeding success of peregrine falcons in south-eastern Scotland 1963-2009"

"Identifying and quantifying the threats to biodiversity in the U Minh peat swamp forests of the Mekong Delta, Vietnam"
